Autumn Resolutions

Things are pretty good. Wendy's going to register the new truck today and take care of the tow hitch so we can hopefully take our boat out on its maiden voyage. We'll probably only get a couple of chances to take her out this year before it's time to winterize her.

Wendy said to me the other day that she's got some resolutions for this fall. "I'm going to read more," she said, "and I'm going to do art."

I'm going to make some resolutions, too:

• I'm going to build a game-system coffee table
• I'm going to write a short story
• I'm going to fix the HP or build a new computer
