Today, I had an MP3 player explode in my hand. I had been charging it in my office and it got so hot that the metal case actually cracked open. I picked it up and brought it over to someone to show them, and it just went off in my hands. Luckily, I wasn't hurt, nor was the woman I was showing it to, but she did get a hole burned into her coat and had the carpet of her cubicle cinged. Just before, I had been holding the device pretty close to my face...I could have really gotten hurt.
