I laughed out loud in the supermarket line the other day. It startled both the checker and the guy in front of me in line. Spontaneous laughter is a public warning of mental illness.

In among the tabloids, horoscope booklets, and Slim Jims was a single book called Pregnancy for Dummies.

I just seemed that the book was advocating the breeding of self-identified dummies. It's a natural thing to do for the owners of the "Dummies" how-to books, right? It promises a future audience for their books.

It was also funny for it's placement among the impulse purchases. How is finding out about pregnancy like selecting wintergreen gum?
